Achulu Review + అం అః
The trick
You’ve met all the Achulu! Two more special marks finish the set:
- అం = am — a humming “m/n” sound at the end (called anusvara). Like in అంబ (amba).
- అః = aha — a soft breath “h” sound (called visarga).
The full Achulu, in order: అ ఆ ఇ ఈ ఉ ఊ ఋ ఎ ఏ ఐ ఒ ఓ ఔ అం అః
This is your belt test — get them right to earn Achulu Ace! 🏅
Worked examples
Quick memory hooks:
- అ/ఆ, ఇ/ఈ, ఉ/ఊ — each is a short + long pair (say it quick, then stretch it).
- ఎ/ఏ and ఒ/ఓ — the e and o pairs.
- ఐ (ai) and ఔ (au) — the two gliding sounds.
