President's Message

నమస్కారాలు మరియు జై మన్నెరుకాపు!  |  Warm greetings and Jai Munnurukapu!

It is both a privilege and a deep honor to serve as President of the Global Munnurukapu Association — an organization born from a simple but powerful conviction: that our community deserves a strong, united, and permanent home wherever life has taken us.

The Munnurukapu people carry within them centuries of resilience, dignity, and tradition rooted in the soil of Telangana. As we have built new lives across the United States and around the world, that heritage has traveled with us — in our language, our values, our food, our festivals, and above all, in the bonds we share with one another. GMA exists to honor that heritage and to ensure it thrives for every generation to come.

Since our founding in 2024, the progress our community has made together has been nothing short of remarkable. In just our first full year, we have grown into a thriving community of member families across our chapters, established our 24/7 Community Helpline (855-686-6878), and launched programs in education, professional networking, cultural preservation, and community welfare through our GMA Seva and GMA Academy initiatives.

Our first GMA Mahasabha in August 2025 in Leesburg, Virginia, was a moment I will carry in my heart always. Hundreds of families gathered under one roof — celebrating Sri Venkateshwara Kalyanam, experiencing the joy of our cultural performances, and connecting through the Vivaha Parichaya Vedhika matrimony meet. That weekend proved what we have always believed: when Munnurukapu families come together, something extraordinary happens.

And we are just beginning.

In the years ahead, I am committed to deepening our chapter network, expanding scholarships and mentorship for our youth, strengthening welfare support for families in need, and advocating proudly for our community in the civic life of this nation. Every initiative we build, every family we welcome, every young person we lift up — all of it flows from our founding principle:

One Community / ఒక సముదాయం.

Membership in GMA is and will always remain completely free. There are no dues, no barriers, no conditions — only an open door and a warm welcome.
