Recognizing a Community Built on Service
The Global Munnurukapu Association was founded on a simple truth: when we lift each other up, the entire community rises. The GMA Awards program exists to say, simply and sincerely: we see you, and we are grateful.
Award Categories
Community Service Award
Presented to a member who has demonstrated sustained, meaningful service to the Munnurukapu community through organizing events, supporting families, leading outreach initiatives, or giving time and resources.
Youth Achievement Award
Presented to a young member — typically age 13–25 [VERIFY] — who has shown exceptional academic, professional, artistic, or civic achievement.
Lifetime Contribution Award
The most distinguished honor GMA confers — recognizing an individual whose lifelong dedication to the Munnurukapu community has left a permanent mark on all of us.
Chapter of the Year [VERIFY]
Awarded to the GMA chapter that has shown the greatest growth, engagement, and service impact over the preceding year.
How to Nominate
Nominations are open to all GMA member families. Submit a nomination with a brief narrative (300–500 words) describing the nominee's contributions. Deadline: [VERIFY: annual deadline]. Awards are presented at the biennial GMA Mahasabha.
