Use AI tools to build fast, affordable websites for local shops, restaurants and service businesses.

Evaluation

Market: Countless small businesses — restaurants, salons, contractors, clinics — still have no real website or an outdated one. AI tools have collapsed the cost of building them, opening a wide, underserved market.

Competition: Agencies charge thousands and move slowly; DIY builders overwhelm non-technical owners. You win on speed, price and being a local person they can actually reach.

Difficulty & cost: Medium — modern AI site builders do the heavy lifting, so almost all the investment is your time to learn the tools and sell.

Pros: Very low costs, high margins, and recurring revenue from hosting, updates and maintenance retainers on top of the build fee.

How to implement

  1. Master one or two AI website builders and build 2–3 polished sample sites you can show prospects.
  2. Package a clear offer — e.g. a fixed-price starter site plus a small monthly hosting-and-updates fee — so pricing is simple and revenue recurs.
  3. Land your first 3 clients from businesses you already know (or fellow GMA members), and turn those into case studies and referrals.
  4. Add ongoing services — SEO basics, Google Business setup, content updates — to grow each client’s lifetime value.
