Immigration & Document Help Service
Video coming soon.
Help families correctly prepare visa, green-card, citizenship and document paperwork — accurately and on time.
Evaluation
Market: Immigration paperwork is stressful, high-stakes and constant across the diaspora. Families will gladly pay someone trustworthy who understands both the process and their background.
Competition: Attorneys are expensive and often overkill for routine filings; DIY leads to costly mistakes. A careful, community-trusted preparation service fits neatly in between.
Difficulty & cost: Medium — the work itself is low-cost, but you must know the rules cold and stay strictly within legal limits.
Pros: High trust, strong referrals, recurring need as families move through visa stages, and reputation compounds fast in a tight community.
Important: In the US, preparing forms without giving legal advice is allowed, but only licensed attorneys (or accredited representatives) may give legal advice or represent someone. Know exactly where that line is and refer complex cases out.
How to implement
- Learn the legal boundary in your country between preparing documents and giving legal advice, and set a firm rule to refer anything complex to a licensed attorney.
- Pick a focused set of services to start — e.g. green-card renewals, naturalization forms, document translation and notary coordination — and build accurate checklists for each.
- Register the business, carry appropriate insurance, and put a plain-English engagement note in front of every client stating you prepare documents and do not give legal advice.
- Charge a clear flat fee per filing, start with a few community referrals, and let accuracy and on-time delivery drive word of mouth.
