Great job! Now three more Achulu. Two are another short/long pair, and one is a special “r” vowel.

  • ఉ = u — like the “u” in put.
  • ఊ = uu — a long “oo” like in moon. (ఉ stretched out!)
  • ఋ = ru — a rolled “ri/ru” sound. It’s rare, but good to know!

  • ఉ → ఉడుత (uduta) = squirrel 🐿️
  • ఊ → ఊయల (ooyala) = swing/cradle
  • ఋ → ఋషి (rushi) = sage/wise person 🧘
