Slides are a helper, not the star — you are the star. The classic mistake is "death by PowerPoint": a slide crammed with tiny text you read aloud (people can't read and listen at once). The golden rule: one idea per slide, big and few words — or a strong image instead of a paragraph. Clean fonts, high contrast, empty space. And remember: no slide is better than a bad slide. Some of the best talks use none.
