Matrimonial Acceptable Use & Privacy Policy

1. Who may use this service

GMA Matrimonial is available only to approved members of the Global Munnurukapu Association who are seeking marriage for themselves or, with their knowledge and consent, for an immediate family member. Every applicant is reviewed by the Matrimonial Committee Chair. Access may be declined or withdrawn at GMA’s discretion.

2. Your responsibilities

By using GMA Matrimonial you agree that:

• All information you provide is true, accurate, and your own (or that of the family member you are representing, with their consent).
• You are using the service for sincere matrimonial purposes only.
• You will treat every member and their information with respect and confidentiality.
• You are legally free to marry and of legal age.

3. Prohibited use

The following are strictly prohibited and are grounds for immediate removal:

• Falsification — fake, misleading, impersonated, or another person’s details used without consent.
• Commercial use — advertising, solicitation, promotion, or any business use.
• Marriage bureaus / third-party matchmaking businesses operating through member accounts.
• Data harvesting — copying, scraping, storing, or redistributing member profiles, photos, contact details, or horoscopes.
• Harassment or misconduct — unwanted, abusive, deceptive, fraudulent, or predatory contact of any kind.
• Off-purpose contact — using details obtained here for anything other than a genuine matrimonial approach.

4. Privacy & how your information is shared

• Your profile is visible only to other approved GMA Matrimonial members — never to the public and never indexed by search engines.
• Your phone number and email remain hidden until both sides accept a match. GMA never sells or rents your data.
• Sensitive documents (e.g. horoscope / jathakam) are shown only to a member you are matched with.
• GMA stores your profile to operate the service and retains a dated record of your acceptance of this policy. You may request deletion of your profile at any time from your dashboard.
• GMA may use aggregate, non-identifying information to run and improve the service.

5. Consent you are giving

By checking the consent box you confirm that:

1. You have read and agree to this Acceptable Use & Privacy Policy.
2. The information you submit is true and submitted with the consent of the person it describes.
3. You consent to your profile being shown to other approved members as described above, and to your contact details being revealed only on a mutual match.
4. You understand GMA is a facilitator, not a party to any relationship, engagement, or marriage, and does not verify or guarantee any member’s claims.

6. GMA’s role and limitation of liability

GMA provides a platform to help members connect. GMA does not conduct background checks, does not guarantee the accuracy of any profile, and is not responsible for the conduct of members or the outcome of any introduction. Members are responsible for their own due diligence before meeting or making any commitment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GMA and its volunteers are not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of this service.

7. Reporting & enforcement

Report suspected misuse to the Matrimonial Committee Chair at 855munnuru@gmail.com or 855-686-6878. GMA may suspend or remove any member, remove any profile, and, where conduct may be unlawful, cooperate with the appropriate authorities.

8. Changes to this policy

GMA may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated to members, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Each acceptance is recorded with its policy version and date.
