Community Guidelines & Acceptable-Use Policy

GMA Classifieds is a free, members-only community marketplace for genuine personal and community transactions. Providing false information, using it for commercial spam, posting prohibited items, or contacting members off-platform to evade our safety model is prohibited and may result in removal and, where warranted, referral to the appropriate authorities.
1. Who & what it's for
A free, members-only marketplace for the Munnurukapu community — housing, services, goods, vehicles, and community notices. Post genuine listings for real transactions. GMA reviews every listing before it goes live.
2. Prohibited listings
- Illegal goods or services; weapons, drugs or controlled substances; alcohol/tobacco where restricted.
- Counterfeit, stolen, or recalled items.
- Adult or explicit content or services.
- Financial scams, MLM/pyramid schemes, "get rich quick", cryptocurrency solicitations, and loans/lending.
- Regulated professional services (legal, medical, immigration) making claims beyond required licensing.
- Live animals where restricted; hazardous materials.
- Discriminatory listings — housing and roommate listings must comply with fair-housing and anti-discrimination law.
- Off-platform payment or contact solicitation designed to evade the masked-contact and safety model.
- Political campaigning, spam, and duplicate or keyword-stuffed listings.
3. Conduct
Describe items accurately, use real photos, price honestly, communicate respectfully, do not harass or harvest other members' data, and honor the transactions you agree to.
4. Privacy & contact
Contact other members only through the platform's masked messaging. Do not demand, publish, or redistribute another member's personal information.
5. Your safety
Meet in public, verify goods before paying, and be cautious with wire transfers and gift cards. GMA is a facilitator; it does not verify listings or guarantee any transaction. Use your own judgment and due diligence.
6. Consequences
Enforcement is graduated and proportionate to severity and history: warning → listing removal → restricted posting → suspension → removal from Classifieds. Illegal content is removed immediately and may be reported to authorities. These actions apply to your Classifieds access only.
7. Reporting
Report a listing or member using the "Report" action on any listing, or contact 855munnuru@gmail.com. Reports are confidential.
8. Disclaimer & liability
GMA provides Classifieds "as is," does not verify listings or members, is not a party to any transaction, and is not liable for outcomes. Members transact at their own risk.
9. Changes
These guidelines are versioned. Material changes will re-prompt acceptance; each acceptance is recorded with its version and date.
