Membership Terms & Conditions and Privacy

1. About GMA membership

The Global Munnurukapu Association (GMA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Munnurukapu community. Membership is free. By registering you become a member subject to these terms and GMA’s bylaws. GMA may approve, decline, suspend, or end any membership at its discretion, including for violation of these terms.

2. Eligibility & accurate information

• You must provide true, accurate, and current information about yourself and any family members you add (added with their knowledge).
• You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date and for the security of your login.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and not transferable.

3. Community code of conduct

As a member you agree to:

• Treat fellow members, volunteers, and staff with respect.
• Use GMA services and the member directory for legitimate community purposes only.
• Not use member information for commercial solicitation, spam, political campaigning, data harvesting, or any unlawful purpose.
• Not harass, impersonate, defraud, or endanger any member.
• Follow the specific rules of any premium service you join (e.g. Matrimonial, Business Directory, Jobs), which have their own additional terms.

4. Your information & privacy

• GMA collects the information you provide to operate membership services (directory, newsletter, news, events, community, and any services you opt into).
• Your details may be visible to other approved GMA members through the member directory. GMA does not sell or rent your personal information.
• GMA uses trusted systems (including CiviCRM) to manage member records and may send you community communications; you can adjust email preferences or unsubscribe from non-essential messages.
• You may view, correct, or request deletion of your information at any time from your profile or by contacting GMA.
• GMA keeps a dated record of your acceptance of these terms.

5. Content you submit

You are responsible for content you post or submit (profile details, directory entries, community posts). You grant GMA permission to display it as needed to run the service. GMA may remove content that violates these terms.

6. No guarantee; limitation of liability

GMA provides its services on a best-effort, as-is basis and does not guarantee outcomes, the accuracy of member-provided information, or uninterrupted availability. GMA is a facilitator and is not responsible for the conduct of members or third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GMA and its volunteers are not liable for losses arising from use of the service. Members are responsible for their own due diligence in any interaction.

7. Enforcement & reporting

Report concerns or misuse to 855munnuru@gmail.com or 855-686-6878. GMA may warn, suspend, or remove members and remove content, and — where conduct may be unlawful — cooperate with the appropriate authorities.

8. Changes to these terms

GMA may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to members, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Each acceptance is recorded with its version and date.
